How many people on site are CPR and First Aid Certified?
Although the state regulations require one person on staff to be CPR and First aid certified, Victoria's Castle makes it mandatory for 100% of the staff to be CPR certified
Does Victoria's Castle administer medication?
Victoria's Castle has staff on site that is able to give medication under the direction of a doctor.
What are the staff qualifications?
Lead Teachers at Victoria's Castle have a Child Development Associate (CDA) or an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a child-related field.
Assistant Teachers at Victoria's Castle Daycare have at minimum a high school diploma and are on education plans to receive their degree.
NYS requires 30 hours of training every 2 years, Victoria's Castle requires more than the state average
Do you accept childcare assistance?
Victoria's Castle accepts payments from the Department of Social Services. Victoria's Castle Daycare is in the process of accepting Child Care Aware
Do you provide transportation?
Victoria's Castle is zoned to the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.
Do you provide food?
Victoria's Castle provides a voluntary food program for an additional fee. The food program includes 2 snacks and a lunch daily.
